About the Presenter
DeQuan Jones started his professional career as the Director of Information Technology for Bennett College in Greensboro. While in this role he worked to modernize the institution by first refreshing the network, then adding valuable layered services to provide a better end user experience for the campus community. After overseeing countless major projects, he then decided to move over to the corporate world by accepting an offer at the Center for Creative Leadership. At CCL he worked as the Sr. VoIP Engineer for the organization where for many years he assisted the infrastructure team with bringing stability to their global VoIP environment. Currently DeQuan works as a Network Engineer at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where he has the awesome opportunity to assist the faculty, staff and students with issues related to the campus network infrastructure. His most recent project was serving as the network SME for the campus migration from Cisco VoIP to Microsoft Teams for voice.
