Unpacking Open Access Networks: The Next Big Thing to Drive Your Broadband Growth Strategy

Does the next big thing always deliver the next big business results? Open Access Networks — the broadband business model where multiple service providers can simultaneously compete and deliver broadband services to subscribers on a shared access infrastructure — is gaining momentum as an industry game changer.

How can the Open Access Networks business model help you better use network assets and capitalize on new revenue opportunities? What implementations promise to transform and connect your community, offer the ideal platform for service innovation — and drive higher adoption rates and average revenue per user?

Calix works with broadband service providers like Silver Star Communications to help implement their open access network initiatives.

Experts from both companies unpack:

  • What is happening in the United States open access market.
  • What models are currently being implemented.
  • Why open access networks are important to Silver Star’s growth strategy and how they are tackling the technical considerations.
  • How competition, operational efficiency, coverage, and customer experience are critical factors to developing the ideal model for your business.
