Developed more than 15 years ago to ensure support for the copper flavor of 10-Gigabit Ethernet, 10GBASE-T, Category 6A has proven itself to be a versatile and reliable medium, capable of handling demanding applications that have emerged and grown to prominence since that time. Among the most common uses for Category 6A cabling today is to support the delivery of data as well as power to devices.

Michael Rearden is the Director of Market Development and Strategy for the Building and Data Center Connectivity division at CommScope. With nearly 30 years in the telecommunications industry, Michael has spent the last 18 years at CommScope working in Field Sales, Market Management, and Business Development. Before coming to CommScope, Michael held sales and sales engineering positions at multiple telecommunications companies. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Liberty University.

As Global Pre & Post Technical Sales Manager, Christophe Hinet RCDD leads the Molex Connected Enterprise Solutions Global Technical support team. He has responsibility for coordinating, engaging, and supporting collaboration within the Global Technical group. Christophe’s strategic role sits squarely at the intersection of Technical, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Product Management and R&D. He combines engineering skills, operations management, and marketing expertise to support new business development activities, aimed at increasing Molex’s market presence and profitability. He drives a proactive & dynamic Pre-Sales approach, anticipating market trends to deliver solutions & services that are truly valued by customers and stimulating the challenge process. Christophe has a passion for the design and the creation of effective Pre-Sales electronic tools & templates with a focus on disruptive technologies aimed at gaining trust & confidence, and employing the use of creative destruction as appropriate. Christophe has been a Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) since 2002 and has nearly 30 years of experience in the Structured Cabling Industry. He also holds City and Guilds qualifications in Singlemode and Multimode Fiber Optic Installation and Testing. Christophe also holds a degree in Economics & Law and in International Trade.
